How the crypto path actually connects

AI Trader for Crypto

“For crypto” should describe a path to a book, not a new religion about candles.

Why this market is awkward in a typical stack

People confuse the app with the chain

They think coins live “in OpenFidex” the way they live in a CEX screenshot.

They import the CEX mental model

Password reset becomes “please move my BTC.” That is not how this architecture works.

They skip venue literacy

Perp funding, insurance funds, and oracle design get treated as UI chrome. They are not.

What OpenFidex changes for this book

If the last page was “why crypto here,” this page is “how the wires run.” You create an account, you get a browser wallet, you look at crypto markets offered through connected decentralized venues, and you sign. The AI sits on that path as a commentator, not as a bridge custodian.

When something fails, diagnose the layer. UI down is not coins gone. Venue paused is not our support desk “crediting you.” Wallet compromised is not an OpenFidex password reset. Learning those layers is the actual onboarding.

Custodial bot pitch vs self-custody tools

Common pitchHow this interface is built
Reset email recovers the stackReset email recovers UI login, not a leaked seed or a signed drain
Support can reverse a bad tradeSupport can explain software. Chains do not have a manager override
One “crypto balance” number is the truthTruth is the venue plus the wallet. The dashboard is a view.

Asset-specific tooling

Login ≠ vault

The most important sentence on this URL. Repeat it until it is boring.

Venues have names

If you cannot name where a ticket goes, do not sign it just because the icon is familiar.

AI cannot bridge for you

Bridges are their own horror genre. Do not let a highlight talk you into a mystery wrap.

Gas and fees are real

A pretty interface does not make network costs fictional.

Questions this page actually answers

Do I need MetaMask?

The default story is an embedded wallet. Extra injected wallets are extra attack surface. Use them only if you understand them.

Where do I see the live list of coins?

In the product. This page will not freeze a ticker catalog that venues change.

Can I use this without touching perps?

If a spot-style path exists for you, use it. Do not assume every crypto ticket is a perp — and do not assume the opposite either. Read the form.

Is Hyperliquid required?

It is a major venue in the product story. The architecture is still “you sign to a third party,” whatever the current menu is.

Does OpenFidex hold my funds or place trades for me?

No. OpenFidex is a non-custodial software interface. A wallet is created in your browser, you keep the keys, and you cryptographically sign every order before it reaches a third-party venue such as Hyperliquid. The software does not take custody of assets and does not submit transactions unless you sign them.
